To fully support the design, installation and operation of its Barrier Systems Britpave provides comprehensive technical support to industry and road operators.

Drawings

Britpave drawings provide all necessary information to design, build and operate its CE marked Barrier Systems.
A complete suite of construction drawings has been produced and is provided to Designers and Approved Installation companies.

Britpave EN 1317 and CE conforming Barrier Systems are only achieved by fully complying with the product specification and associated design details. This information is provided within the current issue Britpave Technical Construction File.

Drawings are issued to all our approved Licensed Installers. They can provide product specific advice.

Datasheets

Datasheets provide a supporting technical guidance for Britpave Barrier Systems and should be read in conjunction with our current issue of drawings.

Datasheets do not provide specification or design details rather they provide guidance in areas where questions are commonly raised.

Subjects include: available barrier products and their use, EN 1317 compliance, drainage systems, signs and street lighting, bifurcation, best practice and Licensed Installation.

Britpave Barrier Systems can only be constructed by one of our Approved Licensed Installers and can only be connected to approved safety restraint systems.

We constantly review out technical documents and periodically update them. We are currently operating Issue 5 of the Concrete Step Barrier and Steel Step Barrier Technical Construction File. This contains the up to date drawings, datasheets and specification. The users of our technical information must ensure they are in possession of the latest issue.
