Dyer & Butler joins Britpave

Britpave, the infrastructure industry association, is pleased to welcome Dyer & Butler as a new member.

Dyer & Butler is a multi-disciplined engineering services specialist focused on essential infrastructure including highways, aviation and rail. Dyer & Butler, part of the M Group Services transport division, directly employs in excess of 700 staff, delivering projects using in-house resource. M Group Services is a leading service provider to essential infrastructure markets in the UK and Ireland, delivering through 12 operating businesses across four inter-supporting divisions: Transport, Water, Energy and Telecom.

For over 40 years, Dyer & Butler has undertaken various project works under numerous frameworks and standalone contracts across UK’s highways infrastructure. The result of this long-standing and on-going activity within the sector has produced a team of highly dedicated and experienced specialists who fully understand, and work to the high standards demanded from those who work in such highly visible and time-sensitive environment.

Dyer & Butler’s in-house Concrete Solutions Team works with clients to identify the most suitable solution to their maintenance and budgetary requirements capitalising on Dyer & Butler’s highways and aviation sector concrete maintenance experience. The Concrete Solutions Team has been undertaking concrete joint repairs and concrete bay repair/ replacement for public and private sector clients for over 35 years. This specialist in-house team was established in Dyer & Butler’s aviation division where it works directly as Principal Contractor for Clients such as Heathrow Airport Ltd and Gatwick Airport Ltd on long-term frameworks, delivering over 50,000lin m of concrete joint repairs a year. Since 2017, Dyer & Butler has transferred these skills, best practice and innovative plant, materials and techniques to the highways sector raising the bar on speed, quality and safety.

The Dyer & Butler team utilises its extensive experience of working in time and safety critical environments to continuously review, refine and improve the concrete repair techniques, plant and materials to deliver best value for the clients. Dyer & Butler’s Concrete Solutions Team have representatives on industry forums and best practice groups, which support continuous improvement and enhancement for the Clients and their customers.

As an experienced Highways England approved contactor, Dyer & Butler provides a comprehensive range of specialist concrete solutions self-delivering works with their directly employed teams and company owned specialist equipment. Dyer & Butler has established long term relationships with many clients leading to a large proportion of repeat business through the 19 highway civils frameworks on which it operates.
